The MARYLIQ by Lost Mary e-liquid range will be launching soon, so you may find yourself wondering ‘ELFLIQ or MARYLIQ – which one is right for me?’.

We’re taking a look at the two ranges to help you find which one will best suit your needs.

What are bar salts?

Bar salts are a type of e-liquid which is designed to replicate the taste and vaping experience of a disposable vape. They are available in all of the most popular disposable vape flavours, and have a 50/50 formula that can be used with starter vape kits, refillable pod systems, and refillable disposable vapes.

Bar salts are a popular alternative to disposable vapes, allowing you to continue using the same flavours but in a reusable vape kit. This is because disposable vapes are not designed for long-term use, but instead are intended to be used occasionally as a short-term vaping solution during times when your usual vape kit may not be the best option, like on a night out or at a festival.

Although individually disposable vapes are quite inexpensive, when they are used all the time the price can quickly add up, not to mention that they produce a lot of plastic and electrical waste which needs to be recycled in a specialist facility. By switching to a reusable vape kit paired with a bar salt e-liquid vapers can produce much less vape waste and save money.

Both ELFLIQ and MARYLIQ are bar salt e-liquid ranges, and both are manufactured by brands who also offer disposable vapes; Elf Bar and Lost Mary. This means that the ELFLIQ vape juices are the same e-liquids which can be found in the Elf Bar disposable vapes, and the same goes for MARYLIQ and the Lost Mary disposable vapes.

ELFLIQ

ELFLIQ e-liquids come to us from Elf Bar, and are the same e-liquids that are found in their Elf Bar 600 and 600V2 disposable vapes. They are available in 10ml bottles with a 50/50 formula, and you can choose between 10 mg/ml or 20 mg/ml nicotine strengths to find the one that best matches your personal needs and satisfies your nicotine cravings.

The ELFLIQ range includes 27 flavour options including all of their most popular disposable vape flavours, from a wide variety of different flavour categories.

MARYLIQ

MARYLIQ e-liquids will be released soon by Lost Mary, and have the same formula as the vape juice found in their BM600, QM600, and BM600S disposable vapes. They have a 50/50 formula and a 20 mg/ml nicotine strength, made using nic salts which are known for their smooth throat hit and fast absorption.

The Lost Mary MARYLIQ vape juice range will be made up of 25 flavours including many of their most popular disposable vapes flavours, specialising in fruit flavours.

Should I use ELFLIQ or MARYLIQ vape juice?

Which one of these bar salt e-liquids will best suit you depends on a number of factors, which we’ll delve into below.

Which disposable vapes you use

If you are using a bar salt e-liquid as an alternative to disposable vapes you will likely want to choose the range with flavours that match the ones you are used to. For example, if you have been using Elf Bar disposable vapes you will find most of their popular flavours in the ELFLIQ range, whereas, if you have been using Lost Mary disposable vapes then you will find the flavours you know in the MARYLIQ range.

There are some flavours in common within these ranges, like pink lemonade and blueberry sour raspberry, but in order to get the most similar vaping experience we recommend taking a look at the vape juices which correspond to your preferred disposable vapes.

Which nicotine strength you use

Which nicotine strength you need is also an important factor to consider when choosing between these two nic salt ranges.

The Lost Mary MARYLIQ e-liquids are available in the same 20 mg/ml strength nicotine salts as their disposable vapes, which is the highest nicotine strength available and is great for those people who used to be heavy smokers.

On the other hand, if you need a lower nicotine strength, the ELFLIQ range is available in both a 20 mg/ml and a 10 mg/ml, so you can select the strength that best reflects your nicotine needs. If a lower nicotine strength like a 10 mg/ml is enough to help you manage your nicotine cravings, it is best to try and maintain this strength rather than introducing a higher strength that your body may not be used to.

Which flavours you prefer

Of course, these e-liquids are not exclusively for those who are transitioning from using disposable vapes to a reusable vape kit. If you have not really used disposable vapes then the main difference between these two nic salt vape juice ranges is the flavours which are available.

Both ELFLIQ and MARYLIQ have a diverse range of flavours that cater to many different preferences, with options ranging from traditional flavours like tobacco and menthol, to more adventurous cocktail or candy-inspired flavours.

ELFLIQ flavours tend to focus more on singular flavours, like cola, blueberry, watermelon, or mango. This makes them a great option if you prefer a vape juice that lets the individual flavour shine, and although they may sound simple, they have been meticulously mixed to offer a refreshing vape with exceptional flavour payoff.

MARYLIQ nic salts on the other hand specialise more in fruit medley and iced flavours, like lime rum, pineapple ice, citrus sunrise, blueberry watermelon lemonade, or peach strawberry watermelon ice. These complex flavours make for a harmonious blend, which ensures that no flavour gets lost, and offer a complex and flavourful vaping experience.
