The shortfills in this range come with 50 ml of nicotine free e-liquid in a 60 ml bottle, which leaves room for the addition of one 10 ml 18 mg/ml nicotine shot (sold separately) if needed. A shortfill is a bottle of e-liquid which contains more than 10 ml of e-liquid, and by law it cannot contain nicotine at the point of sale. The bottles are not filled all the way to the top to leave room for the user to add nicotine if needed.
Shortfill e-liquids have a nicotine free formula, but there is room in the bottle to add nicotine shots, which are sold in 10 ml bottles with an 18 mg/ml nicotine strength, enough to create a 3 mg/ml e-liquid overall. In a 50 ml one nicotine shot is needed to create a 3 mg/ml, whereas in a 100 ml shortfill two nicotine shots are needed.
In the UK bottles of e-liquid containing more than 10 ml cannot contain nicotine, and so shortfills are sold with a nicotine free formula.
Once purchased, the user can choose to add nicotine shots to the shortfill if they require a nicotine content, but they can also be used as they come for a nicotine free vape if preferred.
