This is because the Smart 5500 comes with 2ml of 20 mg/ml vape juice preloaded into the integrated tank, and a further 10ml of e-liquid in a refill container which attaches to the device to continuously top up the tank. Setting up the IVG Smart 5500
The IVG Smart 5500 is easy and quick to set up, just follow our step-by-step guide:
- Take your new IVG Smart 5500 out of the box and remove it from the sealed plastic packaging, then remove the 10ml refill container from the packaging by piercing the foil.
- Remove the white silicone protective cap from the mouthpiece, and the red silicone stoppers from the device and the refill container.
- Align the groves on the refill container and internal section of the device so that the refill can slide into place, it will click into place and should sit completely flush with the device.
- Hold the vape upside down for 10 seconds to allow the refill container to start refilling the integrated pod.
- You can now start using your IVG Smart 5500, and the refill container will continuously refill the tank until all the e-liquid is used up.
How to charge the IVG Smart 5500
The IVG Smart 5500 has a 1000 mAh integrated battery which can be recharged whenever needed via USB-C cable. When the battery is running low a small light near the bottom of the device will flash 10 times, letting you know it is time to think about putting it on charge.
Plug a USB-C cable into the port on the base of the device and connect to an appropriate power source. The light will come on and remain on while the device charges, and will turn off to indicate that the vape is fully charged.
The IVG Smart 5500 does not come with a charging cable to help users cut down on the amount of electrical waste they have hanging around their house.

Can you refill IVG Smart 5500?
While the IVG Smart 5500 does come with a refill container, it is not actually a refillable vape kit. The 10ml refill container can be attached to the vape to refill the internal 2ml pod, but once this additional 10ml of vape juice has been used up it can no longer be refilled and will need to be disposed of and replaced.
How do you refill IVG Smart 5500?
It is easy to attach the refill container to your IVG Smart 5500. Remove the red silicone cover from the device and the refill container and align the groves so that the refill container slides into the slot and clicks into place. Hold the device upside down for 10 seconds so that the interal tank can refill, and the device is ready to go. It will now continuously refill the tank until all of the e-liquid is used up. It is important to remember that once the refill container is empty and all of the e-liquid has been used the device cannot be refilled further and will need to be replaced.
How do you recharge the IVG Smart 5500?
When the battery on your IVG Smart 5500 vape is running low the small light at the bottom of the device will flash ten times. Plug a USB-C cable into the port at the bottom of the device and the light will glow to show it is charging. Once the Smart 5500 has finished charging the light will turn off.
