What is CBD?
CBD is short for cannabidiol, which is a cannabinoid derived from the hemp plant. It is used by many as a supplement and can be taken in a number of ways, such as vaping, using oral drops, or through topical creams and balms.
CBD is anecdotally reported to help with better sleep, ease inflammation and pain, and help to manage mental health conditions like anxiety and depression, although research into the medical uses of CBD are ongoing and it is recommended to consult your GP before using CBD to assist with a health condition or pain.
What is CBG?
CBG, or cannabigerol, is the cannabinoid that acts as the parent compound to other cannabinoids like CBD and THC. Although it is derived from the hemp plant, as with CBD, this compound is not psycho-active and cannot make you high.
CBG is anecdotally reported to offer similar benefits to CBD, such as better sleep, mood, and general wellbeing. When combined with CBD it helps create a better e-liquid formula and also assists with the entourage effect.
Can I use Ohm Brew CBD e-liquids in my vape kit?
Ohm Brew CBD, as with most CBD e-liquids, have a high PG formula which makes them best used with a starter kit or small pod system.
It is best to use CBD e-liquids at a low wattage, between 10 – 20 watts, in order to get the best vaping experience and not compromise the integrity of the CBD or burn it.
Do CBD e-liquids contain THC?
No, all of the CBD e-liquids we sell do not contain THC as this is an illegal substance in the UK. All THC is removed during production to ensure that the overall e-liquid is THC-free and legal to sell in the UK.
UK law dictates that CBD products must contain less than 0.2% THC in order to be legally sold, which amounts to only traces of the compound and will have no effect on the user. Products claiming to contain higher levels of THC are not legal and may not have been subject to the appropriate quality and safety tests.
