Extras FAQ

What are vaping accessories?

You can choose from a variety of different accessories for vape kits at your local Evapo vape shop or our online vape store. These vaping accessories include, but are not limited to, products such as protective cases, battery chargers, external batteries, lanyards, drip tips or mouthpieces, replacement glass pieces for tanks, and much more.

These accessories are not always necessary for using a vape kit, but are added extras that can help you personalise your vaping experience to best suit your needs.

Are vape cases a good idea?

A protective case for your vape may be a good idea if you are prone to dropping or losing your vape kit or work in an environment where your kit could get easily damaged or dirty, like on a construction site or outdoors.

By using a protective case you can help extend the overall life of your vape kit by ensuring it doesn’t get damaged, save yourself money by protecting the glass on your tank so you don’t have to buy a replacement, stop it getting into hands of anyone else and keep the tank debris free.

Many vape cases also offer room for some vaping accessories, letting you store e-liquid and spare coils so all of your vaping items are in one place and easy to find when you need them.

What equipment do you need to vape?

To be able to vape you need a vape kit, which is comprised of a battery, tank / pod or clearomiser, a coil and a drip tip or mouthpiece. These vape kits are also known by different names such as an e-cig, e-cigarette, vape mod, pod kit and much more.

Alongside a vape kit you will need e-liquid to put inside your kits tank or pod, these come in a variety of different nicotine strengths, flavours, volume and VG/PG ratio. If you are using a prefilled pod system, e-liquid can be purchased in the form of additional prefilled pods.

For starter kits such as vape pens or pod devices, we recommend using a 50VG/50PG e-liquids and for sub ohm to advanced kits e-liquids with a high VG content such as 70VG/30PG.

What accessories are available for vape kits?

We have a variety of different accessories available here on our online vape store and in your local Evapo vape shop such as protective cases, vaping cotton, coil building wire, tank stands, replacement USB chargers, batteries and battery chargers, lanyards, drip tips, replacement glass pieces for tanks, and more.

These accessories are not necessarily needed to use the device however they are an added extra that may protect your device from getting damaged, keep your batteries in the best condition so they last longer, or to store your vape kit at home easier.

What are the parts of a vape?

Vape devices consist of a tank or pod, also known as a clearomiser, the ‘mod’ which hold the battery, and a drip tip or mouthpiece. Once these parts are put together you have yourself a vape kit, which once the tank or pod is filled with e-liquid is ready to be vaped.

Most vape kits come with an instructions manual which will tell you how to correctly assemble the product and get it ready for use. If you are unsure of how to set up your device or have any questions, do not hesitate to bring it into your local Evapo vape shop for an expert colleague to take a look at, watch a video guide on our YouTube channel, or contact our customer service team for help.

How do you put stuff in a vape?

Filling your e-cigarette with e-liquid will vary between devices. To put e-liquid into your vape kit you will first need to remove the tank, also known as a clearomiser, or pod.

Pod style tanks will often have a rubber plunger which can be unplugged to reveal the e-liquid filling port, whereas tanks will usually have a section that unscrews or slides to reveal the filling window. Refer to the user manual provided with your device for instructions on how to do this with your specific tank.

If you are using a pod kit that uses prefilled pods you will simply need to dispose of them and replace them once empty, as you are unable to refill these pods with e-liquids.

If you are unable to work out how to fill your particular device, take a look at our YouTube video guides, pop into your local Evapo vape shop, or speak with our customer service team for further advice.
