This handy vape kit is designed so that it’s easy to set up and get started. All you need to do is add e-liquid, prime the coil and charge it up. Then you’ll be good to go.

How to prime your coil

Not sure how to prime the coil? It’s a simple process. Just fill the pod with e-liquid and let it sit for 5-10 minutes. This helps protect your coil from burning out too quickly and means you’ll have a nicer vaping experience too. How to turn your Vaporesso XROS 4 on

Turning your Vaporesso XROS 4 on and off is easy. Simply click the button five times in quick succession. You can also use the button to change the power output by clicking it three times. There are three settings, low, medium and high and you’ll be able to see which one you’re on via the light up flames on your device.

Another handy feature of the XROS 4 is that you can lock the device when not in use by clicking the button four times. This will disable the fire button, so the button cannot be accidentally pressed while in your pocket or bag, but you can still use the device through draw activation.

How to turn your Vaporesso XROS 4 Mini on

You don’t actually need to turn your XROS 4 Mini on, as it has a fixed power setting and has no button, so you activate it by inhaling through the mouthpiece.

How to start vaping with the Vaporesso XROS 4

The XROS 4 has dual action, which means you can choose to either use your vape by holding down the fire button before inhaling or you can simply inhale through the mouthpiece for the same effect – whichever feels better for you.

The XROS 4 Mini doesn’t have a fire button, it’s activated with inhalation only.

How to use the power settings on the Vaporesso XROS 4

The Vaporesso XROS 4 offers three pre-set power settings; low, medium, and high. These are indicated on the screen on the front of the device using small flame icons, and you can tell which setting you are using based on which flames are lit up.

To change the power setting on your XROS 4, press the power button three times in quick succession. This will open the settings interface and you can click the button to cycle through the three power settings. Once you have settled on your chosen output stop pressing the button and after a couple of seconds the settings interface will close with your chosen setting displayed through the screen.

How to charge the Vaporesso XROS 4 and 4 Mini

The XROS 4 series features a 1000mAh internal capacity battery and both the XROS 4 and the Mini are charged through USB – C. To charge, you simply need to connect the charging cable to an appropriate power source. A flashing or pulsing green light will show that the device is charging. Charging takes around 30 minutes, so you’ll never have long to wait. The Vaporesso XROS 4 and XROS 4 Mini also show you how your battery is doing, thanks to the semi-circle light on the device. Green means you’re at 100% to 70%, blue means you’re between 70% and 30%, while red means you’re at 30% to 0% remaining battery power.

How long will the battery last?

How long the battery lasts depends on a few different things, including how often you vape, what your vaping style is and which power setting you use (on the XROX 4, the Mini has a fixed power setting). You’ll be able to see when your battery needs to be charged, thanks to the coloured semi-circle on the device.

How to fill the Vaporesso XROS 4 and 4 Mini

The pods used by the XROS 4 and XROS 4 Mini are the same as those used across the Vaporesso XROS range, so they’re all cross compatible and easy to use. To get started, the mouthpiece needs to be snapped off to the side. This will reveal the top fill, where you’ll see three holes.

Insert the nozzle of the e-liquid bottle into the red hole. This has a ‘membrane’ to prevent leaking. Only use the red hole, the centre hole is for the coil and the very small hole is there to allow air to escape when you’re filling the pod, so it’s important not to try and put e-liquid in either of these. Once the pod is full, simply snap the mouthpiece back into place.   The pods have a clear body so you can see the e-liquid level, always try to keep the e-liquid topped up to at least the top of the exposed cotton on the coil to prevent dry hits.

How to change Vaporesso XROS 4 pods

Changing Vaporesso XROS 4 and XROS 4 Mini pods is nice and easy. All you need to do is remove your old pod from the top of the vape and add in a new one. Just remember that when you’re adding a fresh pod, it’s important to prime it beforehand, to make sure that the coil is saturated and not burning dry.

XROS pods have a SSS anti-leaking design to prevent the vape juice leaking out when the device is not in use or is being stored. The pods are magnetic, which helps keep them in place, and all XROS pods are cross compatible, so you can continue to use any pods you have from a previous XROS device. That said, both the XROS 4 and 4 Mini come with the new COREX 2.0 0.4 pod. This is an improved version, with a refined mesh size and upgraded cotton. It offers up to 30% longer lifespan, better flavour, faster heating, and a more consistent vapour for your enjoyment.

How to know when it is time to change a pod

It’s time to change your pod when you notice that your vapour has started to taste muted, bitter or burnt. These changes suggest that the coil has started to burn and at this point, it can’t be recovered and it’s best to change your pod.

While bubbling or leaking can sometimes mean it’s time to change a pod, that’s not always the case. It can also sometimes mean that there’s an excess of e-liquid on the coil. This can usually be solved by blowing through the mouthpiece while holding a tissue around the device. Any excess e-liquid will then escape through the airflow and can be wiped away. If this doesn’t solve the bubbling or leaking problem, then it may be time to change your pod.

Adjusting the airflow control for The XROS 4 and the XROS 4 Mini is simple. They both have a switch style design located on the back of the device which can be adjusted to any point. This gives you full control over the settings, and can be fully open for a more airy draw, or closed off for a tight draw – so you can easily find whatever suits your vaping style best.

How to fix a Vaporesso XROS 4 which is not working

The first port of call if your Vaporesso XROS 4 or 4 Mini is not working is to ensure that it is sufficiently charged. If the battery has run too low the device will stop working and will show a low battery indication.

However, if the battery on the device is sufficiently charged but the device has encountered an issue which prevents it from working as expected, this will usually be indicated via the LED light. If the light is blinking red this indicates an issue.

If your Vaporesso XROS 4 is displaying a blinking red light and not hitting, it means that one of the built-in safety features has been activated. This could be signalling low resistance, high temperature, a short circuit or the fact that no pod is detected. The first thing to do is to have a look at your user manual. You could also remove the pod to ensure there is no e-liquid in the base of the device interfering with the connection. You could also try changing the pod. If the light continues to flash, it may be that there’s an issue with the device and you need to contact the seller.
