What is the Buy With Confidence scheme?
Buy With Confidence is a national business approval scheme that is solely operated and monitored by local authority Trading Standards services. As the name suggests, it aims to allow customers to find businesses that they can be confident purchasing from and working with, in all different sectors.
Customers can use the Buy With Confidence website to find Trading Standards approved businesses by location or business type, and the scheme is supported by over 60 local authorities.
What does being Trading Standards approved mean?
In order to become Trading Standards approved and a part of the Buy With Confidence scheme, a business is strictly vetted and approved by their local Trading Standards agency, and will continue to be monitored to ensure the highest level of customer service. This includes ensuring that a business is operating legally and honestly, is qualified and experienced, and fully insured.

We operate a strict ‘Challenge 25’ policy, which means that any customer shopping with us that is lucky enough to look under the age of 25 will be asked to provide valid ID before making a purchase, and anyone who cannot provide proof of age will be refused sale. This also extends to suspected proxy-sales made on behalf of another person.
