About nicotine free e-liquid

There are a number of reasons why a nicotine free e-liquid may be the best option for you. Whether you have lowered your nicotine strength over time and no longer need it, or you were a light or social smoker and are using an e-cigarette to help with the physical habit of smoking, but do not need to manage nicotine cravings; not all vapers will need a nicotine containing e-liquid.

Which e-liquid formula you need will depend on the type of vape kit you are using. Those with a starter vape kit or refillable pod system will most likely need a 50/50 or high PG e-liquid that is easily absorbed and most commonly available in 10ml bottles. However, a handy tip is that you can add two Ohm Brew 100% PG non-nicotine booster shots to any 50ml high VG short fill to create a formula which can be used in a starter or pod kit.

On the other hand, those using a sub-ohm or advanced vape kit will need a high VG formula which is designed for large cloud production and has a thicker consistency that will keep your coil saturated. High VG e-liquids are most commonly available in short fill bottles, which are bottles containing more than 10ml of e-liquid and are so called because they are not filled all the way to the top of the bottle. This is to leave room for the addition of nicotine shots, but if you prefer a nicotine free e-liquid you can just use the short fill as it is because the e-liquid inside will always have a 0mg formula.

Another type of zero nicotine e-liquid is CBD e-liquid, which contain cannabidiol and are used as an effective and convenient way to introduce CBD into your daily routine. CBD is a supplement used by many as part of a health and balanced lifestyle, and vaping CBD is one of the most effective ways to administer it. This is because the vapour can cover a large surface area, which makes for optimal and fast absorption.

CBD e-liquids do not contain nicotine because nicotine can actually counteract the benefits of CBD, meaning all of the CBD e-liquids in our range are nicotine free. They are best used with starter vape kits at a low wattage, preferably between 10 – 20 watts, in order to avoid burning the CBD and to get the most out of it.

Nicotine free e-liquid FAQ

Do all e-liquids contain nicotine?

No, while many people choose to use a nicotine containing e-liquid, not all e-liquids contain nicotine. Short fill e-liquids for example are always sold with a nicotine free formula, and the user can choose to add nicotine shots after purchase if needed.

CBD e-liquids are another type of vape juice that do not contain nicotine, as nicotine can actually counteract CBD and make it ineffective.

Do I have to put nic shots in my short fill?

No, whether you choose to add nic shots to your short fill e-liquid is entirely your choice. UK law dictates that any bottle of e-liquid larger than 10ml cannot contain nicotine at the point of purchase, and so all short fills have a 0mg formula.

If you prefer not to add nicotine to your short fill this simply makes them easier to use as you can use them straight away without having to mix in the nicotine shots.

What are CBD e-liquids?

CBD e-liquids are a type of vape juice that are made using CBD, also known as cannabidiol. This is a type of cannabinoid derived from the hemp plant which is used by many as a daily supplement.

Vaping CBD is one of the most effective ways to use it as the vapour can cover a large surface area for greater absorption and increased bioavailability.

What are short fill e-liquids?

Short fill e-liquids are bottles which contain more than 10ml of vape juice. They are called short fills because the bottles are filled just short of the top to allow room for the addition of nicotine shots after purchase if the user needs them.

Whether you choose to add nicotine shots to your short fill e-liquid is entirely up to you, and all short fills have a 0mg formula so if you prefer a nicotine free vape you can use the e-liquid straight away without needing to mix it.
