About Prefilled vape pods
Pre filled pod systems are one of the easiest ways to dip your toe in to the world of vaping. They are perfect for those who are looking for a stop smoking aid and want to see how an e-cigarette could work for them, as they are budget friendly and extremely easy to set up and use with little pre-existing knowledge of vaping.
These kinds of pod systems have been designed with new vapers in mind, and have a cigarette alike inhale that feels comfortable and familiar to someone who is transitioning from smoking to vaping. Pre filled pod systems have a built-in battery which is easily charged, usually by a micro USB cable or a magnetic USB charging dock, making them easy to charge throughout the day, as and when needed. The smaller battery size also makes for a short charge time, but will usually provide enough power for a full day of vaping, depending on usage.
These compact devices are discreet and easy to carry, fitting perfectly in a pocket or bag. Most have no buttons or controls, you simply inhale to active, so don’t need to worry about locking the device or changing any settings.

However, they are limited to the options offered for their chosen device, as these pre filled cartridges cannot be refilled.

What is a prefilled pod?
Some types of pod kits utilise prefilled pods as a way to make vaping easy and approachable for new vapers. These are pods which are already filled with e-liquid and can be purchased in packs. They are specifically designed to be used with a certain vape device, so for example the Vuse ePod pods can only be used with the Vuse ePod vape kit.
The pod can be clicked into the device and used straight away, then once it is empty you can remove it, dispose of it, and replace it with a new prefilled pod. Depending on which prefilled pods you are using they will be available in a wider variety of different flavours and may even be available in a choice of different nicotine strengths.
How long will a prefilled pod last?
It is hard to say how long a prefilled pod will last as this varies from person to person depending on usage.
Each pod will have a maximum of 2ml of e-liquid inside, and how long the pod will last depends on how frequently you vape throughout the day, the length of your draw, and a number of other factors.
Can I refill a prefilled pod with e-liquid?
Prefilled pods are a closed system which are not designed to be refilled once empty. When the e-liquid inside the pod has been used up you should throw the pod away and replace it with a new one. Attempting to refill the pod will most likely cause damage and render the pod unusable.
If you would like to be able to refill your pods you might want to consider moving to a refillable pod kit, which utilise pods which can be repeatedly refilled with your chosen compatible e-liquid.
How much e-liquid is in a prefilled pod?
How much e-liquid comes in your prefilled pod will vary from brand to brand, but you can find this information either on the box the pods came in or on the product specifications for the pods on our website.
The pods will contain a maximum of 2ml of e-liquid, as this is the maximum amount allowed by UK law.
