Vape kit types
About vape kit types
There are many different type of vape kits available, ranging from devices designed specifically for new vapers to replicate the feel of smoking a cigarette, to advanced devices that are high powered and produce large amounts of dense vapour, designed for experienced vapers.
Those who are looking to make the switch from smoking to vaping are best suited to a starter kit or prefilled pod system. They can be paired with a 50/50 or high PG e-liquid, or a prefilled pod, in the nicotine strength that suits your previous smoking habits, and a flavour that you love. These devices have a simple, user-friendly design that makes them ideal for those who are new to vaping and do not have much existing vaping knowledge.
On the other hand, if you have been vaping for a while and are looking to upgrade to a more powerful device with variable features there are sub-ohm and advanced vape kits that can be used with a high VG e-liquid and produce large, dense clouds.

Vape kit types FAQ
What vape kit types are there?
There are a number of different types of vape kits available, including starter kits, pod systems, sub-ohm devices, and disposables.
Starter kits, as the name suggests, are devices that are designed specifically for new vapers. The airflow and power output of the devices is designed to replicate the feel of a cigarette, to make the transition from smoking to vaping as easy as possible.
Pod systems are also often designed for new users and tend to be small and compact in size. There are two different types of pod systems available, prefilled, and refillable. Prefilled pod systems require pods which are purchased prefilled with e-liquid and cannot be refilled. Once the pod is empty it can be disposed of and replaced with a new one. Whereas refillable pod kits come with pods that can be refilled with your choice of e-liquid multiple times before either the coil, or entire pod will need to be replaced.
Sub-ohm devices are recommended for advanced vapers as they are not usually designed to replicate the feel of smoking a cigarette. These devices have a coil resistance lower than 1 ohm and are usually high powered and used for direct-to-lung vaping.
Finally, disposable devices are designed for short-term use, ideal as a back-up device or taking on short trips and nights out. They are compact and completed closed systems, which come prefilled and pre-charged, and are designed to be disposed of once the device is empty.
What vape kit types are best?
There is not necessarily a best vape kit type, as what device is best for you will depend on what stage of vaping you are at and what your preferences are.

What vape kit types are right for me?
If you are new to vaping, a simple starter kit or pod system is often the best place to start. These straightforward devices are designed for ease of use and will allow you to get to grips with using an e-cigarette and make a smooth transition from smoking to vaping.
If you are thinking of upgrading your device there are a number of factors to consider, such as what functions you would like, such as adjustable airflow or variable wattage, how much power you would like, what kind of battery, etc.
If you are looking for a smaller device but are not concerned with changing the power output, a pen style device could be a great option. Whereas, if you prefer a direct-to-lung vaping style and want high powered device with external batteries, an advanced sub-ohm box mod kit would likely be more suitable.
Finding the right device is highly personal, so if you are unsure which one would best suit your needs, pop in to your local Evapo vape shop or speak to a member of our customer service team who will be happy to offer advice and recommendations.
Who are vape kit types designed for?
Starter kit devices have been designed specifically to be suited to new e-cigarette users. As most people use an e-cigarette as an alternative to smoking, these devices have been designed to replicate the feel of smoking a cigarette. This helps make the transition from smoking to vaping easier, by offering a familiar experience to what users are used to.
Pod kits are also primarily designed with new users in mind. These devices also replicate the inhale of a cigarette and tend to be very small in size and discreet in design. Prefilled pod kits in particular are an excellent place to start for new vapers as there is no need to worry about refilling the pod or changing the coil, you simply use the pod until it is empty and then swap for a new one.
More advanced, sub-ohm kits are designed for experienced vapers who are familiar with how e-cigarettes work and are looking for ways to further personalise their vaping experience. These devices are often designed for a direct-to-lung vaping style and offer more power and changeable features like adjustable airflow and variable wattage.
