How do I choose a disposable vape?
When choosing a disposable vape first consider if you are comfortable using a high nicotine strength. Most disposable vapes come with a 20 mg/ml e-liquid, which may be too high for some. BrewBox offer a lower strength option that may be more suitable for those who do not want a high nicotine strength.
Another consideration is why you will be using the disposable. If you are going on a short trip and want disposable devices so you don’t need to take your usual kit and other vaping accessories, then a device with a high approximate puff count would be a good place to start. On the other hand, if you are going to a festival or night out, a sturdy device with a robust design would be less susceptible to possible damage.

What are disposable vapes?
Disposable vapes are a completely closed system that comes prefilled with e-liquid and pre-charged. These devices offer a great back-up device, perfect for taking on short trips, nights out, or just for when you forget your vape!
The devices cannot be refilled or recharged and are designed to be used until empty and then disposed of. Because of this they are ready to use straight out of the box and do not need any other vaping accessories, perfect for when you need to pack light.
Disposable vapes usually utilise nicotine salts, for a smooth inhale, and a high nicotine strength to quickly satisfy cravings. They are inhale activated so there are no buttons, simply inhale through the mouthpiece to vape.

How do disposable vapers work?
Disposable vapes are prefilled with e-liquid and are a completely closed system. When you inhale through the mouthpiece this activates the battery, heating the coil and vaporising the e-liquid. Because of the nature of these devices, they cannot be recharged or refilled with e-liquid, so once the e-liquid has run out or the battery has lost charge, the device will stop working and can no longer be used.
Disposables usually have a simple design but will feature an indicator light which will show when the device is in use and will flash when the device is finished. Disposable devices do contain a built-in battery and so should be disposed of responsibly.
Are disposable vapes legal?
Yes, disposable vapes are legal. All of the disposables we stock here at Evapo come from reputable suppliers and are made in line with UK law. However, there has been reports of high strength disposable vapes being sold illicitly, with nicotine strengths up to 50 mg/ml, which are not legal to sell in the UK. We recommend always buying from reputable vaping retailers, and if you see a disposable advertised as having a nicotine strength higher than 20 mg/ml do not buy it as the product is not legal and may not be legitimate or subject to the appropriate safety testing and approval.
