As with vape kits where the coil will need to be changed periodically, the oven screen in your PAX device will need to be changed to keep the device in tip top condition. You can pick up new PAX oven screens in a handy three pack, so it is easy to keep on top of device maintenance and ensure you are always getting the best flavour and vaping experience.
Other PAX accessories are available to help you adjust your vape to best suit your needs. For example, if you find that the oven is actually a bit big for your needs, or you just prefer a shorter vaping session sometimes, their half pack oven lid is a fantastic add on. This oven lid allows you to use half the amount of dry herb and still keep the oven packed tight. It is important that the oven is well packed to ensure an even distribution of heat and prevent burning, so the half pack lid can be a vital addition!

What is the PAX half pack lid?
The PAX half pack lid is compatible with the PAX 2 and PAX 3 devices, and can be used in place of the usual oven lid if you would prefer to only fill the oven half way.
It is important to use a different lid for this as the oven needs to be tightly packed to ensure an even distribution of heat and to prevent burning.
What are PAX oven screens?
PAX oven screens are used in the PAX 2 and PAX 3 device. In the same way that you will periodically have to change the coil in your vape kit, you will need to change the oven screen in your PAX device.
Changing the oven screen ensures that the device can perform at its best and is part of the cleaning and maintenance that is needed to keep your device in good working order.
Are dry herb vaporizers legal in the UK?
Yes, dry herb vaporizers are legal to purchase in the UK. The devices themselves are simply an electronic device comprised of a heating chamber, or oven, and a rechargeable battery, not dissimilar to an e-cigarette.
Dry herb vaporizers have been designed to offer an alternative to smoking, that allows you to conserve your materials with optimised flavour all in one convenient device.
Can I use concentrate in a dry herb vaporizer?
Not all dry herb vaporizers can be used with concentrates, as they require the use of a different kind of oven to dry herb materials. Some devices, like the PAX 3 complete kit, come with an alternative oven insert that allows for concentrates, as well as a heating option that will best suit the different consistency and needs of a concentrate.
You should only attempt to use concentrates with a device that is compatible and has a specifically designed concentrate oven to avoid damage to the device.
