What are disposable vapes?
Disposable vapes are a type of device which comes prefilled with e-liquid and with a pre-charged built-in battery. These devices are a completely closed system and cannot be refilled or recharged and are designed to last as long as the e-liquid inside before being responsibly disposed of.
Disposables are designed for short-term use and are a great option for nights out, short trips, and festivals, when you need a lightweight and compact device that will keep your nicotine cravings at bay without the need for carrying additional accessories and bottles of e-liquid.
How do disposable vapes work?
Disposable vapes are an extremely user-friendly option as they do not need to be refilled, recharged, or have the coil changed. They are ready to go straight out of the box once the packaging has been removed and are draw activated.
Draw activated means that there are no buttons needed to use the device, you simply need to inhale through the mouthpiece to vape, offering an extremely cigarette-alike vaping experience.
When the battery and e-liquid are close to being fully depleted, the light at the base of your disposable will start to flash, letting you know it will soon stop working. Once it is empty the device will stop producing vapor and can be responsibly disposed of and replaced with a fresh one if needed.
How long does a disposable vape last?
A disposable vape will last as long as the battery and e-liquid inside last. The battery has been optimised to last approximately the same amount of time as the e-liquid.
How long the device lasts depends a lot on the user, as the length of their pull and the frequency of use will make a difference to how long the device lasts. Each device offers an estimate for how many puffs the device will provide to give you an idea of what to expect from the device.
Can I refill a disposable vapes?
Disposable devices cannot be refilled with e-liquid as they are a completely closed single use system that is designed to only last as long as the e-liquid contained within the device upon purchase.
There are specifically designed refillable disposable vapes which can be refilled with your choice of e-liquid multiple times before needing to be disposed of, or for a long term refillable vaping option you may be better suited to a traditional refillable vape kit.
